Forum on International Cooperation in Smart Machinery:
Identifying Needs, Strategies and Business Opportunities
資訊科技與製造的深度結合，使製造過程產生了巨大的變化，特別是智慧工具機、智慧自動化與智慧電動車/自駕車的應用，非但使產品、服務、效率及顧客價值顯著提升，亦引發產業型態的變革，進而改變商業模式，讓製造業服務化成為創造價值和提升競爭力的重要來源。
然而，這樣的產業轉型與升級，牽涉技術、系統、管理與人機協調等多方面的改進與挑戰，許多不易自我獨力完成。透過國際合作，借重國際夥伴的先進技術、知識與資源，非但可以更快、更節省成本地達到目的，甚且可以借助國際夥伴的網絡讓台灣廠商有機會更深入國際市場。本研討會希望透過國內外專家的集思廣益，尋找我國推展智慧機械產業的國際合作需求、策略、做法與商機。
The full-blown application of information technology in manufacturing, particularly the harness of smart machine tools, smart automation, and smart EV/Autonomous Vehicle, results in substantial change in production process. Not only does it obviously improve products, services, production efficiency, and value to customers, but it also triggers a revolution in industrial structure, further changing business model. It makes servitization of manufacturing to become an important source of creating value and increasing competitiveness.
However, such industrial transformation and escalation is somehow difficult to be done alone. Through international cooperation and by leveraging foreign partners’ technologies, knowledge and resources, the task can be accomplished at faster speed and lower cost. Taiwanese manufacturers may also have the chance to access broader international markets by employing foreign partners’ networks. This forum invites industrial experts from home and abroad. Through extensive exchange of views and deliberations, the organizers intend to explore needs, strategies, measures, and opportunities in international cooperation.
