Idaho and Taiwan bring the cooperation between the two parties to the next level

Idaho and Taiwan share a long friendship. In addition to leading this delegation to Taiwan, Taiwan and Idaho  share close commercial ties. Taiwan is Idaho's fourth largest source of imports, and second largest export destination. Micron, a world-renowned semiconductor company and Taiwan's largest foreign investor, is headquartered in Idaho. So we share close exchanges across both official and industrial channels.

On May 10/21, a memorandum of cooperation was signed with Taiwan’s industry representatives, led by Wang Mei-Hua(王美花政務次長) , the head of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the governor of Brad Little, and the head of the American Association of Taiwanese (AIT) Helen Peterson, and the director of the Idaho Department of Commerce, Tom Kealey and Deputy DirectorYang Chih-Cing(經濟部工業楊志清副局長)  of the Industrial Bureau witnessed that the two sides will further strengthen the cooperation between Taiwan and the United States in the field of medical technology and smart manufacturing in the field of industrial cooperation over the years, and integrate design services, engineering services and strategic marketing. It is used in medical materials and smart manufacturing (including smart machinery, aerospace, etc.) to bring the cooperation between the two parties to the next level.

Taiwan Automation Intelligence and Robotics Association is the invited unit of this joint signing cooperation memorandum. It is represented by Chairman Huang Han-Pang(
黃漢邦理事長) and the National Federation of Medical Device Trade Associations (TFMDCA) and the Taipei Medical Equipment Business Association (TMICA). The TMI MOEA of the Ministry of Economic Affairs jointly signed a memorandum of cooperation with SMHeuristics of the United States.
