美國強迫勞動法規宣導會
目的 Purpose
美國海關暨邊境保護局(CBP)依據《1930年關稅法》第307條發布暫扣令,針對包含臺灣在內多國廠商疑涉強迫勞動產品禁止輸入美國,此一情勢將使我商對美貿易更須注重法遵,為協助我國企業掌握美國法規要求與最新執法趨勢,本次宣導會特邀美國Crowell & Moring律師事務所說明涉及強迫勞動之相關規範、進口合規義務及供應鏈管理重點,協助業者提前因應國際法規變化,降低貿易與聲譽風險,以強化國際法遵韌性。
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), under Section 307 of the Tariff Act of 1930, has issued Withhold Release Orders (WROs) prohibiting the importation of products from several countries, including Taiwan, that are suspected of being produced with forced labor. This development underscores the imperative for Taiwanese enterprises trading with the United States to enhance their regulatory compliance efforts. To help Taiwanese enterprises better understand U.S. regulatory requirements and recent enforcement trends, this webinar will feature experts from Crowell & Moring LLP, who will provide an overview of forced labor regulations, import compliance obligations, and key considerations in supply chain management. This webinar aims to equip companies with the knowledge to proactively respond to evolving international regulatory developments, mitigate trade and reputational risks, and strengthen the overall compliance resilience.
